ABRAPlp is dedicated to advancing the understanding of psychoanalysis and psychoanalytic ideas. We believe that psychoanalysis provides a unique and unparalleled perspective on the human condition based on a deep respect for each person's complexity and individuality. By providing educational programs for interested educators, academics and mental health professionals, we are helping the community stay abreast of current developments and debates in the field of psychoanalysis.

 

Our programs are funded by tuition, faculty fees and generous contributions from donors in the community. Every year, our faculty unites to contribute with training, supervision, guidance and participation in community outreach projects in our community. But we can't do it alone, we need your help. You are allowing us to continue to offer low-cost analysis to community members and to continue to train psychoanalysts who regularly volunteer in the community at schools, in disaster situations, and who teach and mentor.
